Description
Poor old Jim. He just wanted a part-time job, but finds himself dragged into the local underworld; bullying, drug dealing, and race-fixing. Where will it all end?
Jim eventually takes a lowly position at Slobend, Fleecem and Skinnem as a general gofer. Unfortunately for Jim, he realises he’s now working in a highly dysfunctional organisation where binge drinking and office sex are commonplace.
Worse, Jim recognises Flin Rheingold and Paul Tupal; as a sideline; they’re the local drug pushers & bullies to boot.
From the dark web to Roman Re-enactment, Jim’s Revenge takes many twists & turns with violence & humour, mystery and mundane!
“Jim’s Revenge” is a pretty far departure from the two previous books. There isn’t a killer mutant space millipede or psychotic robot to be seen anywhere. Instead we get the epic tale of an elderly bloke who gets a part time job making brews for a bunch of office workers.
Yep, you read that correctly. Now obviously it isn’t as simple as that hence the “revenge” bit in the title. But I’d rather not spoil anything here except to say that Andrew R Williams has proved here, like many a good writer, that he isn’t limited to a certain genre.

A first-class comedy mystery thriller with perfect pacing. I enjoyed the story, character development, and dialogue.
There were plenty of plot twists that I didn’t see coming and that added to the book’s mystique.
It has been a while since I enjoyed a book this much. It’s a first-class comedy mystery thriller with perfect pacing. Not much is as it appears here, which is just the way fans of mystery, thriller and suspense will want it.
A great novel for anyone who enjoys crime, detective, or mystery novels. 5/5 stars!
After this, you will have to buy the book. Seriously, it will be money well spent.
The supporting characters were a mixture of sweet and sour, with a tangy twist which made it surprisingly witty. From drug barons to the damsel in distress, each character forms part of the plot.
The author’s writing style is sharp and to the point which made it easy to follow, as well as fast-paced and enjoyable.
