I like Al Murrey’s mischievous sense of humour, so I bought the Last 100 years and all that. Unfortunately, I swiftly realised that something was missing; Al Murrey’s delivery.
So the written word didn’t do it for me. Luckily I had a free Audible voucher and I downloaded the book on Audible.
Al Murrey was narrating his own book and bingo, Al Murrey’s humour came to life. The audible book was a thousand times better. It also provided a reminder much the world has changed over a very short time.
So it’s Five Stars for the Audible book. (Three stars for the written book.)
